Srushti started to get ready for the UPSC examination in her 3rd year as a student in engineering. Following her graduation, she began to question whether she could enjoy a career in engineering job. Later, she realized the dream of her was to work in civil service and decided to pursue the field. Parents insisted that she study for civil service and to make it a profession serving the public. Her motivation was constant and she concentrated on becoming the IAS officer. For UPSC to be successful, more hard work is required. She was also preparing for UPSC examinations while taking engineering classes. She allocated time for this examination preparation each day. Within just one and a quarter months she studied for engineering examinations, and stayed away from all social interactions. She is convinced that focus is crucial to pass the government examination and be an officer in the civil service. She worked hard to achieve her goal of passing the exam at the first attempt. Each day, she was reading the papers to stay on top of the latest news. In the online world, she found various study materials as well as watched Rajya Sabha TV.
